"They are world champions at home and itching to get revenge. It is up to us and how we cope with the conditions and how we play. The best players to customize it. We have players who have never played in India in England shirt.

"Learning curve is so steep, but they do well," Cook told the Daily

Telegraph. India suffered a humiliating 0-3 loss dayers in England five-game series for the past six games washed out and tie the other end.England also lowered India's 36617 Test series in which the last result, lose their number one ranking.

While Cook is aware that a number of key players in the Indian team - Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh - have been excluded due to injuries in the first two ODIs, but he admitted that in your backyard, India has a tough side to beat.

Tour of India is definitely going to be a litmus test for Cook, both captain and player, as England was beaten up by the Indian one-day series in India since 1985, ending their last two series, 5-1 and 5-0 thrashings.

But Cook is drawing a good confidence in one dayers in the summer where he has an average strike rate of 58 runs scored and 95th

"It would not have gone much better for me too," Cook said.

"As a striker I always said I could play one-day cricket in England. I had to back that up action immediately, and the master you want to start the player. It gives you that added sense of authority. This is kind enough to end the doubts and help his captaincy.

"It takes time for you to get accustomed to the master side and the coach and the players get used to you. Indeed, I only made six weeks. It takes more than just people work, how to do things, and I look forward to the players," he added.
